National Television Award viewers seem to think Holly Willoughby was "close to tears" as This Morning missed out on a gong at the prestigious event.
The yearly ceremony took place on Tuesday night (September 5) at London's O2 arena with Joel Dommett leading this year's proceedings as host.
But it wasn't before long eagle-eyed viewers noticed that presenter Holly looked rather emotional when This Morning lost the Best Daytime Show award which was given to BBC's The Repair Shop.

Heading over to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on This Morning not receiving the award for the first time in 12 years and Holly's reaction.
One viewer said: "Holly looks like she’s about to burst into tears when the Repair Shop won the award."
Another penned: "Holly looks close to tears," while a third said: "We all know Holly Willoughby is fuming."
ITV's This Morning has picked up an award in the daytime, live magazine or topical magazine category every year since 2011.
Heading to the stage to collect his gong, The Repair Shop’s host Jay Blades encouraged the crowd to cheer while the show’s team followed behind as he later noted it was a "rarity" for them to be winning the prize.
Jay then went on to thank those who voted and added: "I would like to salute my experts, they are my family."
He also gave a special praise to his fellow nominees, This Morning, The Chase and Loose Women, saying: "We’re the new kids on the block and I’m glad we’ve won this time. I know it won’t be a regular thing so thank you."
Later on in the evening, Holly, 42, posted a sweet black-and-white snap of herself alongside Jay.
Captioning the photo, she wrote: "To this gorgeous man @jaybladesmbe and the whole team at the @therepairshoptv … Hugest Congratulations!!!
"And what a night for the incredible Sarah Lancashire… @joeldommett thank you for a great night… See you in the morning."
In the comment section, fans praised her for her post.
One social media user wrote: "A true professional. Well done Holly," while another said: "Huge respect to you Holly. A touch of class as always."
