Hollyoaks viewers were left horrified on Tuesday as Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox) lashed out at Sid Sumner and thew his prosthesis in the river in a violent rage.
Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) is currently locked up in a young offenders unit after confessing to murdering the drug dealer to protect the real killer, Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer).
However, Nancy is not convinced that her young nephew is capable of doing such an awful thing.
She has since been trying her best to find out what really happened on the night of Jordan's murder and prove that Charlie was not responsible.
During a video call with Nancy, Charlie mentioned how Sid was the one who got him entangled in the world of drug dealing in the first place, and Nancy decided to take action.
Nancy saw red and quickly went to find Sid, who was waiting to deal drugs to a client in the village.
The school teacher spotted the youngster's prothetic leg on the table as they clashed over Jordan's death.
Nancy later grabbed the artificial limb and pelted it into the nearby pond with all her strength.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "No way Nancy threw Sid’s leg in the water!"
Another added: "I know you're upset Nancy but really? You're gonna "destroy" Sid? Seriously? Have you no shame?"
A third person posted: "Wow, that escalated quickly with Nancy lobbing Sid's leg into the water."
While a fourth social media user wrote: "Nancy angry era is here."
With word of Charlie’s involvement in the murder spreading round the village, Nancy was all the more determined to prove the child’s innocence during the latest visit to Hollyoaks village.
Sid was taken aback as Nancy railed at him, and when he suggested that Kyle Kelly (Adam Rickitt) was depressed as a result of living with her, Nancy saw red.
She took hold of his prosthesis and chucked it in the river — much to the dismay of Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna), who witnessed the scene unfold.
Sid was distraught, as little did Nancy know there were stashes of drugs stored in the prosthesis, which are now no doubt destroyed, which means the teen could be in deep trouble with drugs lord Victor Brothers (Benjamin O’Mahony).
Sid has recently returned to dark world of count lines drug dealing in a bid to take down evil Victor.
Will Nancy come to regret her actions?
