Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) has caused quite a stir during her time in Coronation Street, committing misdemeanours ranging from bullying to arson.
However, things may be set to get even more serious as she takes a leaf out of her dad’s book. Literally.
John Stape has come back to haunt Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and her family, as a book about his crimes is set to be published.
Initially, the family had no idea who is behind the publication, and started to wonder if it could’ve been Phill (Jamie Whittaker), who was dumped by Fiz a few months ago.
While Fiz and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) remain horrified by the prospect of a book about the serial killer, young Hope sees an opportunity.
Having got her hands on a copy, she announces to her school mates that for a £1 cost, she will be doing a reading of the book, and signing copies!
Later on, she joins Sam (Jude Riordan) in the cafe, and opens up about how alike she and her dad are, and how the book has made her realise how much they have in common.
With Hope seemingly proud of her dad’s book, will she start to feel inspired by his crimes?
