Fans of I'm a Celebrity have slammed ITV bosses for continuing to keep a segment of the show that some have branded a "waste of time".
Viewers of the show have been getting gradually more frustrated that producers of the hit reality show continue to air the vote reveal format that leads to each night's elimination. Every night, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly make their way into the celebrity camp to reveal the results of the public vote.
But despite the tension when Ant and Dec enter the camp, fans of the show have said that they are missing the element of surprise after clocking onto the same format of each elimination every night. Taking to a forum run by fans of the show, one fan said: "It's too formulaic, the last person is always the one to be the second 'could be you' so the suspense is really limited to whenever they say the first 'could be you'."

The user continued: "They could do it in alphabetical order that way it could be anyone up until the two 'could be yous' so the suspense is the same every time. Granted there are a few issues with this, but the current system isn't the best."
Fellow fans were quick to throw their support behind the idea, with another user commenting: "Agree it just uses up some time. The stupid bit is that bit isn’t live anyway, if they cut it down it would give a little more time for the recap or the exit interview."
A third viewer was also supportive of the potential switch-up, saying: "The way they announce it is stage managed as well to build pressure on folk producers want gone as well. 'Oh she was a could be, she'll be gone tomorrow, no point in me voting her to stay anymore'."
Last night's show saw EastEnders star Danielle Harold left the jungle after landing in the bottom two together with professional boxer Tony Bellew. As a result, just five celebrities now remain in the camp, with the winner being revealed this weekend.
Speaking about her experience in her post-elimination interview, Danielle said that she enjoyed every minute of her time in camp. She also paid tribute to fellow campmate Sam Thompson for helping her get through the experience.
"He has literally become a little brother to me," she beamed as she reflected on the pair's blossoming friendship. She later joked that she got along so well with the Made in Chelsea star because they were equally "crazy".
I'm A Celebrity airs every weekday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
