I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Scarlette Douglas' real name has been revealed as she head into the jungle last night.

The A Place In The Sun presenter altered her name before she found fame on the popular Channel 4 property programme.

Scarlette, 35, was seen entering the jungle last night alongside Boy George as one of the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here VIPs.

The TV presenter was forced to camp out overnight on a beach last night – and is due to take part in tonight's first Bushtucker Trial.

However, while she is known as Scarlette on her Channel 4 show A Place In The Sun, and on I'm A Celeb, that's not her real name.

She decided to change it from Charlotte when she became a presenter, in order to make it more unique.

While the two monikers sound very similar, Scarlette opted to add an extra "te" at the end of her name to make it stand out.

Last night, Scarlette and Boy George were seen leaving luxury behind as they paddled to an island during the show launch.

The pair went from a luxury yacht to the tiny inflatable to meet their co-stars on a deserted beach to spend the night.

Singer George was unmissable in a brightly printed co-ordinating set while Scarlette looked like she was heading off on holiday in a lime green jumpsuit.

Donning orange life jackets, George and Scarlette appeared to get stuck in and were seen with a paddle each as they made the journey.

George and Scarlette were previously seen sailing onto the show alongside rugby royal Mike Tindall and soap hunk Owen Warner.

Some of their fellow I'm a Celeb stars were previously snapped taking part in the terrifying Walk The Plank challenge – with one of them pulling out.

It comes after Scarlette shared her worst fear ahead of heading into the critter-filled Jungle earlier this week.

She revealed that even the thought of a spider makes her palms sweat as she is set to enter the camp in Australia and be faced with a series of gruesome Bushtucker Trials.

Speaking about what she is most scared of, Scarlette said: “Spiders are my absolute worst fear. I think I can deal with the rest of it if I am honest but it is just the way spiders move that is what is going to freak me out…and cockroaches!

Asked how scared she is of the creepy crawlies, the TV star added: “Even you telling me about me holding one makes my palms go sweaty!

“I don’t like spiders at all – the tiny ones I can deal with but if they are any bigger than a 5p piece I am out of there.”
