Sam Thompson announced as winner of I’m a Celeb 2023
This Morning could host an I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! reunion in the coming weeks, as King of the Jungle Sam Thompson is heavily tipped to join campmate Josie Gibson as a presenter on the show. The newly crowned King of the Jungle boasts 4/6 odds of guest hosting or permanently hosting the ITV daytime show between now and the end of 2024, following his victory in the reality show on Sunday night.
This Morning has used a rotation of male presenters since the departure of Phillip Schofield in May. Meanwhile, Josie has been a regular on the show since 2019. Having joined as one of the show’s competition announcers in 2021 she was promioted to stand in presenter on the show.
Bookies William Hill have revealed that he is heavily fancied to take up the role. “Sam Thompson’s reign as King of the Jungle may still be in its infancy, but we’re already looking ahead to what lies in store next for the Made in Chelsea star,” said the company’s spokesperson Lee Phelps.
This Morning isn’t the only opportunity that the 31-year-old is being tipped for. They are also currently offering odds of 8/1 that he will follow in his girlfriend Zara McDermott’s footsteps and take to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom next year.
He is also predicted to take his sweet bromance with runner up, former boxer Tony Bellew, on to the small screen. Odds of 3/1 are being offered that he will permanently host a TV show with his fellow finalist.

Sam has won the hearts of the nation during his three weeks in the jungle, with his energetic nature and loveable personality.
When he first entered the show, it appeared that he may have been getting on the nerves of his campmates with his energetic outbursts, However he soon bonded with everybody developing a special attachment with Marvin Humes and Tony Bellew.
After being announced as winner, he spoke to hosts Ant and Dec about his time on the show and how it feels to be crowned King, exclaiming: “Mate, it is like a dream that I don’t want you to wake me up from.
“I never thought I would be asked to do this, it is the most surreal thing I have ever done in my whole life.

“Even the moments when you are feeling low, all I am thinking of is ‘Why am I feeling low in the jungle’. There are so many amazing people I never thought I would spend this time with.
“When you first walked into camp I sort of blacked out a little bit! The jungle did so much more, I have never been shocked so much in my life.
“The little moments are the best as well. My best moment is when Snake Rock came back and everyone was back together and then Tony came in as well.”
