I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! preview
Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James has dubbed Josie Gibson her “guardian angel” and said she deserves all the success coming her way.
The close friends lived together when Ashley, 36, hit a rough spot in life, and she broke off from a holiday to post her support for Josie ahead of the opening I’m A Celebrity show.
Presenter and model Ashley wrote on Instagram: “Having a break whilst I’m away but I just had to come on here and wish Josie Gibson so much luck for the jungle. She deserves to be a queen, I’m so happy for everything coming Josie’s way.
“Lots of you won’t know but Josie was my literal guardian angel after a bad breakup almost 10 years ago.
“I’d only met her twice but after reading my relationship was over online she called me to check in. I was a mess and had no money etc – within 10 minutes Josie was in a van on the way from Bristol to pick me and all my possessions up.

“I lived with her for five months and she helped me pick my life back up and helped me build my self-esteem. We had a lot of fun together.
“Josie is always so giving and I’m just so happy that she is getting the recognition she deserves from just being a 10/10 human. I’ll love her forever.”
Before going into camp, This Morning host and former Big Brother winner Josie vowed to give the show her best shot. She said: “I’ve promised myself that even if I’m frightened to death, I’m going to give everything the best, the best I can do.
“I’m going to give everything my fullest. I’m going to put everything behind it because I feel like if you come to a job probably, then don’t do it at all.

So as long as I know that I’ve walked away from everything that I’ve been put up for, and I’ve done it to the best of my ability then I’ll be happy.”
Despite the show not having started yet, This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has odds of 3/1 of being crowned Queen of the Jungle, according to bookmakers.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters are seemingly in agreement that Josie Gibson is very much the one to beat Down Under, with the This Morning star streets ahead in the popularity charts as things stand.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! begins tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
