I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back with a bang, and it's not for the faint-hearted.
During Sunday's (November 19) launch show, singer Marvin Humes, actor Nick Pickard and Britney Spears' younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears are up first to face a terrifying skydive and the series' first Bushtucker Trial – the Temple of Doom.
A sneak peek trailer reveals the trio tied up in glass boxes, facing a jungle-themed spelling test while bugs rain down on them. Hollyoaks star Nick seems to have the toughest task, collecting stars with his mouth amidst a swarm of creepy crawlies, including massive spiders.

Jamie Lynn can also be seen squirming as she tries to win stars for camp but how will with the trio do? A fresh batch of famous faces campmates will swap luxury for life under the stars, where gathering stars means food for the camp. As the new campmates adjust to their surroundings, each other, and the upcoming Trials, who will emerge as the new King or Queen of the Jungle?
It comes after reports that Jamie Lynn broke a major show protocol after refusing to take part in pre-show interviews,
Her co-stars, including former UKIP leader Nigel Farage and This Morning star Josie Gibson all submitted to interviews ahead of the show, but Jamie Lynn refused. A source told MailOnline: “While it is a choice whether camp mates take part in the interviews, they usually do – no questions asked.
"But Jamie said no, that she didn't want to speak before she entered the show. It was very disappointing, fans of the show are so excited about what she has to say." The celebrities are kept in quarantine before entering the jungle, staying in different hotels dotted around the Gold Coast to keep them from meeting their campmates. Their phones are taken away and chaperones stay with them at all times.
That means no communication with the outside world, except with press interviews – which Jamie Lynn has refused to consent to. It’s led to some speculation that she could be saving the best of the goss – namely about her sister Britney Spears – for the jungle, and for the telly.
