Im A Celebs Nigel Farage has game plan as hes not shown real him

Fred tells Nigel Farage ‘you destroyed the economy’

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star Nigel Farage could be hiding who he truly is, according to a former campmate.

Samantha Fox competed in the ITV show back in 2009 before she was eliminated third from the competition as Gino D’Acampo became King of the Jungle.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk on behalf of stocklytics, the singer gave her thoughts on this year’s line-up.

One of which included GB News’ Nigel, who she believes is playing a game plan to attract more followers in the outside world.

The 57-year-old said: “I know Nigel has definitely gone in there, he’s definitely got a game plan. I think we’ve all seen through that.

“He loves the camera and he wants 25 per cent of the air time. We heard him say that, so we know what he wants to get out of this.

“He obviously wants lots more followers and supporters. It’s a good platform I guess for him.

“He will definitely reach another generation, whether you believe in his politics or not is a different story but we’ll keep that to one side!

“With Nigel, I don’t feel that we’ve seen the real him. He’s acting like a politician all the time.”

The singer highlighted that despite the stars being in the jungle for a while now, many know little about Nigel’s life.

She continued: “I don’t know what his personality is like, I don’t know anything about his home life.

“Has he got kids, has he got a girlfriend? He’s very guarded and doesn’t get involved in conversations about life. It’s all very guarded.”

During his time in the jungle, fans have seen the 59-year-old clash with a few of his fellow campmates over his political views.

However, ahead of entering the show, the former MP confessed he hopes people will change their views on him.

He said: “I am hoping those who hate me might hate me a little bit less afterwards.

“But it’s a gamble and the idea that somehow the things I represent – mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty, the ‘little Englander’ – all those accusations that have been flung at me over the years just aren’t true.

“If we can dispel some of those misconceptions, then that will be a good thing too.
