Moments after walking into the Celebrity Big Brother house, Jimmy Savile made some sickening remarks to the housemates.
Netflix documentary Jimmy Savile: A British Horror story revisists footage of the vile presenter’s short stint in the Channel 4 reality TV series. Back in 2006, the series was remembered for its wide-ranging mix of housemates, including George Galloway, Chantelle Houghton and Pete Burns.
The featured clip showed the disgraced presenter, who was exposed as a sexual predator after his death in 2011, entering the Borehamwood bungalow and being swarmed by the celebrities. Just a few minutes into his spine-chilling appearance, the prolific sex offender made some sickening comments to the contestants.

After hugging Coronation Street actress Rula Lenska, Savile notably said: “I would want to marry all of you ladies for at least 24 hours.” Later, while Rula was cooking, Savile told her she looked “far prettier” than she does on TV “in the flesh.” He also said to the winner of the series Chantelle, “I know that many fellas love you, but they don’t love you with the sincerity and tenderness I do.”
As Chantelle awkwardly giggled, the twisted paedophile kissed her hand and added: “I always tell the truth, even if I’m lying.” Speaking to Basketball legend Dennis Rodman, Savile said: “I want you to know I have a violent temper but you have nothing to fear from me."The disgraced TV star told the housemates he was there to fix problems for them, in a nod to his show, Jim'll Fix It.
Before departing the house, Savile said: "Don't forget ladies, I'm available most weekends for home visits.” The two-part documentary about the wicked paedophile was released on Netflix last year. The harrowing documentary shines a light on how the twisted pervert, once branded a “national treasure”, became one of the most prolific sex offenders in British history.
After he died, more than 450 allegations of sexual abuse were made against him and he is believed to have sexually abused up to 1000 young girls.
Steve Coogan is set to take on the role of the evil abuser in a new BBC drama The Reckoning. Throughout his career, Jimmy encountered a number of celebrities; many of whom had awkward meetings with the former entertainer.
Written by Neil McKay and executive produced by Jeff Pope, the four-part BBC series will trace paedophile Savile's life through the decades. When alive, the sex offender was one of the BBC's most popular presenters and figureheads.
