A LEGENDARY BBC show is returning for its whopping 66th series – and it's just weeks away.

Beloved series Have I Got News For You will be back on air next month.



The show, which started all the way back in 1990, will see Victoria Coren Mitchell hosing the first episode.

It will be the writer's 18th time in the hot seat and her 26th appearance in total.

Ian Hislop and Paul Merton will be back to captain two teams of celebrity contestants.

They will be tasked with answering questions on news stories from the past week.

It's currently unclear who the famous faces on the first episode will be.

Have I Got News For You is hugely popular with Beeb audiences.

The show moved from BBC Two to BBC One in 2000 and went on to achieve impressive ratings for much of its history.
