Loose Women star Linda Robson speaks out as major ITV show shake-up confirmed

Loose Women is set for a major shake-up next month as live audience members will return for the first time in over two years.

Addressing those watching at home during Wednesday's (August 3) episode, Coleen Nolan took the reins with delivering the bombshell news that the studio would once again be brimming with fans.

Prior to the announcement, Linda Robson told Daily Star that the girls couldn't wait for the live audience to once again return to the studio.

Speaking to Daily Star at the National Reality TV Awards last week, she said: "The audience are coming back in September.

"Our warm-up act is also coming back. It's a good day out and we can't wait."

In March 2020, ITV cancelled their live studio audience for Loose Women for the first time amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The stars of the show have since been recording episodes without the exciting buzz from fans watching the show in front of them.

Sharing the exciting news live on air, panelist Coleen said: "It's not about me for once, it's about you.

"Yes you at home, over the past two and half years it's been a bit lonely and empty in the here.

"I mean we've got our lovely crew but sorry crew as much as we love you, it's not quite enough."

She added: "Now this studio needs filling up so from early September we are bringing back, the studio audience guys."

The panel of the latest episode, which included Coleen, Christine Lampard, Janet Street Porter and Jane Moore, erupted with cheers and praise as they looked forward to presenting in front of people.

Online users raced to the website to garb their free tickets which caused a problem.
