Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan walks off set as World Cup sees show pulled off air

Loose Women host Coleen Nolan excitedly walked off stage before the end of yesterday's (November 22) show to catch England's first game in the World Cup.

Co-host Jane Moore told audiences that the programme wouldn't on air for the next few days so that ITV can create space to broadcast the epic football tournament.

"We are taking a break for a couple of days due to the World Cup coverage. We will be back on Thursday, joined by Strictly's Hamza and Jowita", Jane confirmed.

Concluding her announcement, Jane gave Coleen permission to leave the studio, seeing that the former singer was "desperate" to watch the football.

She said: "That is it for today. You can go. Go on Coleen. She's desperate to go and watch the football."

Coleen had been hoping to watch England's first match against Iran.

She continued, "Good luck to England and Wales today", but Coleen had already left before she could finish her sentence, "She's gone!" Jane remarked.

Before she took off, Coleen was joined by Jane, Gloria Hunniford and Brenda Edwards as they discussed unusual skincare hacks and caught up with Charlene White via video chat, following her eviction from I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!

Charlene revealed what it was like to share a camp with former health secretary Matt Hancock and admitted that she refused to stay in the RV alongside him, despite it being her reward as 'camp deputy', so she wouldn't risk her "impartiality" as a journalist.

Elsewhere in the jam-packed episode, the Loose Women interviewed The Chase's Mark Labbett.

The coverage of the World Cup is due to disrupt coverage of Lorraine and This Morning, both of which will be returning on Friday.
