The pair announced earlier this week that they had called time on their romance just four months after winning the show.
And not only does it cause problems with the Love Island special, Jack and Dani were also close to finishing filming for Jack And Dani: Life After Love Island.
A source told the Mail On Sunday: "This is a disaster. Dani’s announcement came out of nowhere.
"It is all very embarrassing given that the Love Island Christmas special is being trailed.
"They are the stars of the show and now there is not enough time to film it all.
"ITV know this will affect their ratings.
"As for the show in the New Year, it is still scheduled to air.
"But, again, it will all appear disingenuous. This split came out of nowhere and nobody had any time to prepare."
Dani gushed about Jack Fincham being "the one" in a new interview conducted just days before their split.
In a chat released today by You Magazine, Dani, 22, seemed certain she and Jack were made for each other.
Asked by the interviewer if Jack's "the one," she said: "Yes. There wasn’t anyone fit to tie his bootlaces on Love Island. It’s true."
She added: "He has no great expectations. I set the bar pretty low."
Dani – whose dad is EastEnders actor Danny Dyer – also took a swipe at her fellow Love Islanders and reality stars for going mad with cosmetic surgery.
