It appears that a former Love Island star has decided to call it quits on his relationship – just weeks before his girlfriend is set to welcome their first child.
Biggs Chris, who appeared on season six of the hit ITV dating show in 2020, started dating Summer Hawkins in 2021 and announced they were having a baby in June of this year.
However, they've reportedly split after a string of rows and have decided, weeks before the birth, to part ways.
An insider told The Sun: “It’s very sad but Summer and Biggs have decided it just isn’t working.
“They want what’s best for their baby and they just don’t think it’s being together at the moment – they were arguing too much.
“They might end up giving things another go but for now they want nothing to do with each other – and have even unfollowed on socials.”
Summer, 28, chose to be a stay-at-home-girlfriend after quitting her job teaching and moved to Scotland to be with reality star Biggs.
And it was only earlier this year that the 31 year old excitedly announced he is set to become a father with his girlfriend, also known as Sumerica.
He revealed the happy news with a sweet video compilation that he shared to Instagram. In it, Summer could be seen in a black and white filter as she looked at her positive pregnancy test and broke down in tears.
She then set up her camera in the corner of the living room and left the pregnancy test wrapped up on the coffee table for Biggs to find.
After he discovered it, he looked floored and was momentarily rendered speechless before asking his girlfriend, hilariously: "Are you f*****g joking?" to which she replied: "No."
He then said: "You talk s**t," as she walked forward and pointed at the test and said: "I promise you. Look."
The couple then included a clip of the first ultrasound scan at the hospital, and the joy was clear to see on her face.
Biggs captioned the post: "We’ve been keeping our little Blessing a secret."
His Love Island pal Luke Mabbott, who is engaged to Lucie Donlan, after meeting her on the show, wrote: "Me and lucie are so happy for you guys your going to be amazing parents!!."
Biggs replied to his comment, saying: "@lukemabbott love bro thank you."
