Love Islands Chloe Burrows says bosses confiscated makeup and fake tan in villa

Love Island beauty and 2021 runner-up Chloe Burrows has revealed that she had makeup and fake tan "taken off her" in the Spanish villa.

Dialling in from home after flying back from Menorca – where she was the face of O2 Swim for Sims, the world’s first swim-up mobile phone shop – Chloe spoke exclusively to Daily Star where she lifted the lid on villa life after placing second on the show last summer.

When we asked her about what her holiday essentials are, Chloe admitted that she's not the best at packing and will usually end up buying things last minute at the airport.

But the blonde bombshell did admit that she loves a bit of fake tan and will often pack it when she goes away because she "doesn't tan well".

And this was the case when she flew to Spain last summer to star on Love Island.

"You're not really allowed to take a lot in [to the villa] so you're really only allowed like you know, knickers, pyjamas, you know," she revealed.

She then explained how she got some of her possessions confiscated, telling us: "We got all our make-up, I got some make-up taken off me, like fake tan."

Adding: "I always take fake tan with me on holiday because I don't tan."

Chloe also recently took to TikTok where she explained that fake tan was banned in the villa – which happens to be one of the many strict rules in the villa.

The reasoning behind the unusual rule is because producers want the bedsheets to remain crisp white and looking fresh.

This comes after Chloe revealed that her close pal and season seven sister Millie Court was 'strategically' placed into the villa last summer when she told bosses she fancied her now-ex Liam Reardon.

Chloe told us that bombshells are allowed to watch every episode of the series and while in lockdown, they tell their chaperone who they fancy.

She added that she thinks it "kind of determines when they’re dropped into the villa" before adding that after Millie said she fancied Liam, she was then placed in villa and split up Liam and Faye Winter.
