Now Michael has taken to Instagram to showcase his super-ripped new look.
He filmed a video showing his fitness feat, accompanied with the caption: "Michael has entered the chat."
The opening clip saw the firefighter posing by the gym lockers.

Meanwhile, we recently told how Michael looked completely different as he transformed his his physique.
He also showcased his longer curly hair as he told how he was going back to his "old skool" look.
Recently, the reality star went on a two-month high protein, low-fat diet to achieve the look he wanted after being invited to take part in a two-day bodybuilding competition.
But in doing so, the former firefighter felt mentally drained and very alone.
Michael said: "I felt so low, I was isolating myself because I was training so hard and so focused on my food intake. I didn’t have the energy to converse with anyone.
"I didn't want to speak or go anywhere. I had energy to train and work only."
He continued to The Mirror: "As the process went on, my obsession with food grew. I'd be constantly thinking, 'Has this got enough protein and minimal carbs and fat in it?'
"Then straight after eating, I'd be thinking about the next meal."
According to eatright.org, disordered eating is used to "describe a range of irregular eating behaviours that may or may not warrant a diagnosis of a specific eating disorder".
