Love Island winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon have enjoyed a romantic trip to Ireland after rekindling their relationship.
Millie, 26, who won the hit ITV2 dating show in 2021 alongside Liam, 24, took to Instagram to share a number of loved-up snaps of their short stay in Dublin. They were in the city to launch the Christmas season at an ice skating attraction.
The pictures showed the couple, who got back together earlier this year after splitting in July 2022, trying their hand at ice skating before sharing a tender kiss.
Other images showed the luxury accommodation they stayed in during the trip, along with a sweet image of them holding hands in a car.
Millie captioned the pictures: “24 hrs in Dublin.”
She added: “Seeing Liam trying to ice skate did give me the ick a lil xxxx.”
Friends and fans were quick to respond to the post with their messages of love and admiration for the couple.
Fellow Islander and Millie’s close pal Chloe Burrows wrote: “Na this is so cute omg.” A fan added: “You are made for each other, this is a rare gift, protect it.”
Another follower posted: “You two are so gorgeous to watch.” A third said: “Literally love you guys together.”
Speaking to the press at the Dundrum on Ice launch, Millie and Liam spoke of why they had no plans to move back in together after rekindling their relationship. Before their breakup, the pair lived together in Essex – where Millie is from – but Liam revealed that he has now moved back to his homeland of Wales.
He told Goss.ie: ”That’s just something I’ve wanted to do for a while now, my family and my friends are there. So me and Millie see each other… it’s basically the same as every weekend, we’ll see each other a couple days a week.
“She’ll go back to Essex, I’ll visit Essex, we’ll make it work and It’ll be a nice happy medium.”
Millie added that while her work schedule would not allow her to move to Wales at the moment, she thought it would be a ‘lovely place to settle down’.
Liam said: “At the moment we don’t have any plans to move in together, that can come in the future, we’re in no rush.”
The pair also told how they were “really good” since getting back together earlier this year. They revealed they actually got back together in February but managed to ‘keep it under wraps for a few months’ until reports of a reconciliation began to emerge in April. Then in May, they were pictured together on a cruise so they decided it was time to come clean.
Elsewhere at the event, Liam also spoke about why he and Millie split in 2022. Speaking to EVOKE, he said: “We broke up because being in the limelight, it took a toll and I struggled and our relationship didn't work out. We had time apart. We grew individually and we are back together now, and I feel we are the best versions of each other.”
