E4 Married at First Sight UK fans have finally learned which couples have remained together after a shocking finale full of twists and turns.
16 hopefuls joined the controversial series to find love with a total stranger and a wave of brutal dumpings and surprise connections have dominated the popular series. As the show draws to a close – fans were left stunned after a series of shocking results from the couples’ vow renewal ceremonies.
Perhaps the most shocking moment was Ella dumped JJ despite them both having left their respective partners for each other. Ella, who is the show’s first transgender contestant, thanked him for accepting her as she was, but shared that he was “not the one”.

JJ reintegrated the sentiment telling her they were “better as friends”. “Oh well that was a surprise!!!” said one fan.
“i am SHOCKED. was convinced JJ would leave and Ella would stay!!!” shared a second. A third added: “I'm glad Ella got in there 1st, this wasn't meant to be.” Fans also blasted Adrienne and Matt’s decision to stay together after she revealed she did not want children.
With Matt admitting he had “always wanted kids” – fans were stunned when he said he was willing to forego his dream to be with her. After declaring they were both willing to give their relationship a go and stay married – fans blasted the decision
“Nooo Matt don’t compromise on a family, it will make you miserable," said one fan. "Two lovely people BUT I feel for Matt who feels like he needs to give up on his hearts desire for kids for the love of Adrienne which is so unfair," penned a second.
