Married At First Sight viewers all have the same complaint.

The hit romance series returned for the latest edition on Channel 4 which sees couples meet for the first time at the alter as they tie the knot.

Together, the pairings have to navigate married life as they decide whether to stay together in the social experiment.

However as the premiere episode got underway and viewers got aquatinted with the new cast – which includes the first transgender bride – they all noticed the same casting aspect.

Previous series have featured gay relationships and different personalities, however, fans of the long-running series have noticed that the cast appear to look 'the same'.

One fan asked: "Is this TOWIE or MAFS, can’t tell."

A second said: "Here we go, Botox and Filler season by the looks of it #MAFSUK."

"The women all look the same #MAFSUK," noted a third user.

And a fourth posted: "OK so they all look like supermodels. #MAFSUK."

However, other fans also think that there is a lack of diversity in the cast as producers have opted for more the 'look factor'.

One user said: "I miss the old type of casting, feels like it’s just turned into the usual reality show cast."

"Diversity as always lacking #MAFSUK," remarked a second.

Meanwhile, a third commented: "This cast of MAFS is so vibrant," along with a laughing tears emoji.

And a fifth stated: "I’ll be watching anyway, but whilst loving the diversity of sexuality, ethnicity, they are all tall, slim, nails etc. Still more ‘average’ needed!"

Some even compared the series to ITV'sLove Island, which is known for casting social media influencers.

"Am I watching random people who’ve applied to be Married At First Site or a budget version of Love Island? It’s all hair and fillers," pondered a reality viewer.

Another said: "This series has some diversity yet also looks like a series of Love Island weird."

And another disgruntled watcher added: "Looks like a casting of desperate love island #MAFSUK."

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 Monday to Thursday at 9pm
