Race Across The World star Harry Judd says the reality show made his marriage stronger than ever.
The McFly drummer, 37, was away from wife Izzy and their kids for a month. They weren’t allowed any contact and the star realised what he was missing.
Harry, taking part in the celebrity version of the show with mum Emma, 63, said: "It made me realise how much I love my wife. Izzy always jokes that I don’t miss her when I go on tour, that I just miss the kids. But on this show I missed her so much.
"All I kept thinking was how amazing she is and what a wonderful mum she is and how lucky I am to have her." The pair survived the dreaded Strictly curse back in 2011 when Harry won the title and have gone on to have three children together.

Harry and his mum are competing against rivals featuring weather presenter Alex Beresford, All Saints singer Melanie Blatt, and racing driver Billy Monger. By the end the celebs and their partners will have backpacked through 24 countries and travelled more than 6,000 miles in 31 days.
Drummer Harry recently praised Busted pal Matt Willis for opening up about his addiction battles and suggested McFly could reveal their own secrets
In the BBC documentary Fighting Addiction, Matt opened up about his decades-long battle with booze and drugs, and the effect it has had on his TV presenter wife Emma Willis and their family. Harry said "Matt was so honest and brave. I would make a documentary now but I can see us in 20 years, late 50s, very reflective, hopefully having achieved a lot more. Everyone in the band needs to be comfortable telling their story truthfully.
"There’s things that have happened which maybe some of us aren’t quite comfortable talking about. That’s the interesting part of the story – the highs and lows, and the lows are sometimes places you don’t want to go to. One day maybe if everyone’s up for that it would be good."
McFly toured with Matt between 2013 and 2015 as part of supergroup McBusted and Harry says: "He was so protective of his sobriety and never wanted to glamorise it and use it as a promotional tool – it was so fragile.

"I'’s amazing to see him in a place where he’s comfortable to talk about it very considered. He’s been through so much in his life he’s able to reflect on it now with enough confidence to know he’s in a safe place. It was really inspiring and I was really pleased for him because he’s a great guy. Things have changed so much in terms of mental health conversations."
Celebrity Race Across The Word concludes on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday
