Just when you thought Love Island couldn’t get any wilder, actual Sean Paul has turned up to the villa because it’s 2020 and anything can happen.
The rapper famed for Gimme The Light, Temperature and Get Busy has arrived to brighten up Shaughna Phillips’ day after she was mercilessly dumped by Callum Jones last night for Molly Smith.
‘I’m ready to bring the fire to the Love island crew,’ the 47-year-old revealed in first-look clip from the Beach Hut.
Sean stands on the shoulders of garage giant Craig David, who famously treated last summer’s islanders to a DJ set which subsequently blew Anton Danyluk’s mind and he never quite recovered from it.
Sean’s arrival couldn’t come at a better time after the couples were reunited following four days of Casa Amor, which as a viewer has proven to be slightly traumatising.
Callum became public enemy number one when he brutally pied off Shaughna who was ready to make their relationship official, while Nas Majeed turned on Demi Jones for her doppelganger Eva Zapico.
Only Luke Trotman and Finnley Tapp decided to stay loyal, although perhaps not through choice.
Regardless, the public was in tears over their reunions with Siannise Fudge and Paige Turley.
Tonight we’ll see the aftermath of last night’s horrific twist with a little sprinkle of dancehall beats from Sean Paul because why not, eh.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
