Megan Fox and new fiance Machine Gun Kelly accused of COPYING Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's proposal

MEGAN Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have been accused of "copying" their good friends Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's proposal.

The actress, 35, and rapper, 31, got engaged on Wednesday, with MGK popping the question in Puerto Rico while surrounded by dozens of candles.

Kourtney's fans pointed out that Travis proposed to Kourtney in Montecito back in October with a "similar" set-up – surrounded by hundreds of candles and roses.

Machine Gun Kelly wore a black and white striped shirt and black pants, while Megan looked chic in a revealing black dress.

Travis had also opted for a black and white striped T-shirt and Kourtney wore a shockingly similar floaty black dress.

Both couples shared loved-up photos from their special moments on Instagram and paid tribute to each other in the captions.

One fan noted the comparisons between the two engagements, joking on Reddit: "'Can I can copy your homework?

"Sure, just change it up a little so nobody can tell'. Aren’t these outfits kinda similar?"

A second wrote: "Omg!!!! I thought the pics looked familiar but it didn’t click! There's literally no originality."

Another quipped, "Now Pete [Davidson] must wear stripes when he proposes to Kim [Kardashian]."

Travis and MGK are close friends and have collaborated on songs together.

Their partners Kourtney and Megan have also grown closer and previously joked that their boyfriends are their "future baby daddies".

They made the quip while giving a speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

Later that night, the two couple shared photos of them kissing in a bathroom stall.

Megan claimed that she and MGK celebrated their engagement by "drinking each other's blood".

The couple showed off the actress’ unique engagement ring on Instagram that’s complete with one oval white diamond sparkling next to an emerald stone.

The rocker shared a video from Tuesday of his wife-to-be's hand showing off the ring and explained the choice for the special bling in the caption.

He wrote in the post: “Yes, in this life and every life. beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me.

“I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”

While the clip did not include audio of MGK's words to his fiancee, the lovebirds appeared to exchange romantic vows to each other before she said "yes!"

She captioned her post: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

"Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

The Transformers star concluded: "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

"And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."

"…and then we drank each other’s blood," she concluded.

The pair met back in March of 2020 while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass just after Megan separated from Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green.

They tied the knot in 2010 but announced their divorce in early 2020.
