Mel B edited out of ITVs An Audience With Adele special after vibrator joke

Mel B was "edited" out of ITV special An Audience with Adele last week after she made a bold joke about a vibrator.

The former Spice Girls singer, whose full name is Melanie Brown, joined a slew of other famous faces at the London Palladium for the performance and had just as fabulous a time as everyone else.

Unfortunately, when the spotlight turned to the 46 year old star during the evening, she fumbled.

Mum-of-three Mel was given a question to ask the Easy On Me hitmaker, who was left in floods of tears when she was surprised by her old English teacher during the evening, but she insisted she felt it was "silly".

Instead, the former pop star talked about sex toys with the 33 year old singer instead.

The Sun reported that during the show a source claimed Mel was "tasked with asking a question about the best gift Adele had ever received".

"But when the cameras were on her she said she felt silly asking it," they continued.

“Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator," the source then told the publication, but unfortunately "no one really laughed".

Instead, the source claimed that Adele did her best to assuage any awkwardness and she "made a wisecrack about it and moved on".

The insider went on to insist there is no "bad blood" between Mel and ITV.

The channel simply made the decision not to air the segment due to An Audience with Adele being designed as a "family show".

OK! has contacted representatives for Mel B and ITV for comment.

There were plenty of hilarious moments and TV gold during Adele's show, as her A-List guests got involved in the action.

Actress and British film royalty Emma Thompson made quite a stir when she jumped out of her seat to dance along to Adele's songs.

The star also encouraged others to let go and join in as she was pictured cheering and waving her arms around in delight.
