Mel B’s ex Stephen Belafonte taunts her online after nanny who claimed they had fling revealed she’s spilling the beans

MEL B'S ex Stephen Belafonte has taunted the star on Instagram after the nanny who claimed they had a fling revealed she's spilling the beans.

Lorraine Gilles, 30, alleged in 2017 that 45-year-old Mel would invite her to have filmed threesomes with herself and Stephen in a seven-year affair.

And yesterday an article with the headline: "Mel B's ex-nanny Lorraine Gilles reveals she's writing a movie about her wild life… After claiming she had a fling with the Spice Girl" emerged online.

Lorraine added a giant popcorn image to a screenshot of the article as she shared it to her Instagram Story, with 45-year-old Stephen re-posting it to his own page.

Tagging his ex wife, he wrote: "Oooh [poo emoji] @OfficialMelB things might get spicy for you!!"

Stephen went on to add a crying-with-laughter and eyes emoji.

Hours later, the producer shared another cryptic post, this time adding a series of eye emojis as well as one of a mouth zipped shut to a meme.

The meme read: "Sometimes you have to withold good news so it can remain untouched by negativity."

Mel has not publicly acknowledged news of the film or her ex's taunts.

The singer was was previously forced to make a payment of £1.8million to German Gilles after labelling her a “prostitute” following a two-year legal battle in her split from Stephen.

The former couple then ultimately agreed that “keeping the matter under wraps was best for all” in a bid to spare further intimate details from being made public.

At the time, Lorraine said she felt “forever hurt and betrayed” by Mel, who she claimed had made her out to be a “conniving and depraved mistress”.

Earlier this month, Mel said that her 10-year relationship with Stephen was an "impossible situation".

After a whirlwind romance, Mel married Belafonte in June 2007 in Las Vegas and a year later renewed their vows in front of family and friends in Egypt.

On September 1, 2011, Mel gave birth to their daughter Madison. She was already mum to daughters Phoenix, now 22, and Angel, now 13, from previous relationships.

In 2014, cracks began to emerge in their marriage after he was accused of physically assaulting her when she appeared on The X Factor UK's live Sunday show with bruises and scratches to her face and arms.

She had previously been rushed to hospital a few days before causing her to miss the live X Factor show on the Saturday.

Mel filed for divorce in March 2017, citing "irreconcilable differences".

The star filed for a temporary restraining order from her estranged husband, too, over claims he beat and sexually exploited her, which Stephen has denied.

In August 2018, they reached a settlement which involved the abuse charges being dropped.

Mel has now made a film in collaboration with Women's Aid about domestic abuse after becoming a patron for the domestic abuse charity.
