ANIME fans will be delighted to hear that Blue Eye Samurai has been renewed for a second season.
The hit show came out on Netflix just a month ago, and has already gathered a large fan base.
It follows the story of Mizu, who is a mixed-race sword master in Japan during the Edo period.
She lives life under disguise searching for revenge.
The action series has received a rare 100 per cent positive rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
It has been praised for stunning animation and well thought out storylines.

Creators Amber Noizumi and Michael Green spoke about how grateful they are that the show has been renewed, saying: "When we started this project, we made a commitment to take this very personal story set in Edo-period Japan and bring it to life in the most authentic and beautiful way possible.
"Our animators, historians, musicians, martial artists and voice cast made this a reality beyond our expectations.
"We are thankful to our entire team and to our viewers from all over the world who have shown such passion for Mizu and her path of revenge. Mizu has a lot more blood to spill! We are deeply grateful to our incredible partners at Netflix for letting the journey continue."
Excited fans flocked to social media to express their feelings on the streaming platform's decision to bring the series back.
