Netflix’s raunchy new thriller branded ‘next Fifty Shades of Grey’ as steamy sex scenes leave fans hot under the collar | The Sun

NETFLIX has announced a raunchy new thriller which has been dubbed the "next Fifty Shades of Grey" – and sizzling sex scenes have left fans hot under the collar.

Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor and Star Wars actor Alden Ehrenreic both star in the film.

The new thriller Fair Play comes to Netflix on October 13.

The story follows a young couple who are engaged in an illicit affair at the workplace.

The full synopsis reads: "An unexpected promotion at a cutthroat hedge fund pushes a young couple's relationship to the brink, threatening to unravel far more than their recent engagement."

Speaking about the new thriller to Netflix, director Chloe Domont said: "When I met with Alden and Phoebe for the roles, it was pretty instant that they were perfect for these characters…

"They’re incredibly strong versatile actors that can do anything. And also what excited me about it was that they had never done anything like this before, I love to cast against type."

Critics have dubbed it "the next Fifty Shades of Grey" and it has already received a solid 88 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes after its UK release.

Given her sensual performance in Bridgerton, Phoebe knows what it's like to film a raunchy scene.

But her latest role is a far cry from shy Daphne, the fourth Bridgerton child.

Phoebe's character in Fair Play is more cutthroat and dominant, as we see her trying to challenge the men in the corporate world.

Actress Phoebe said: "This film really explores how women can feel very crippled and isolated by their success and how they have to ultimately suppress a lot of their strengths to avoid the rage of a really insecure man."

The thriller is available to watch on Netflix, October 13.
