Paul and Dylan are evicted from Big Brother house in dramatic double elimination

The first double eviction of the Big Brother series was just as dramatic as expected as Paul and Dylan were voted out by the public – making them the fifth and sixth contestants to leave the house.

Paul was first to be eliminated as he gave a brief hug to his housemates and exited via the iconic Big Brother eye to a crowd of boos, with Dylan close behind.

Speaking on Big Brother: Late & Live, Paul said: "We all did wind each other up".

Despite viewers witnessing arguments between Paul and Trish, the duo appeared to make up before his exit. Paul also said: “Not everyone can be everyone’s cup of tea…I think me and Trish are very similar people so we could clash. I do like to wind people up and I said that before I came in.”

Revealed in Wednesday's episode, 1 November, the housemates learned that Dylan, Noky, Paul and Trish received the most nominations from their fellow housemates this week.

Dylan received the most nominations and was voted from Henry, Noky, Chanelle, Matty, Jenkin, Yinrun and Trish. Noky was close behind as she received six nominations from Olivia, Jenkin, Dylan, Paul, Jordan and Tom.

Trish received five nominations from Olivia, Chanelle, Dylan, Paul and Tom, and Paul received four nominations from Noky, Henry, Yinrun and Trish.

The housemates said the reason they are putting people forward is that they are “two-faced” and want the “experience tailored” to them.

During Wednesday's instalment, the housemates were grappling with Kerry, an NHS manager from Essex, being shown the door during a Halloween-themed episode.

She had been put up for elimination, alongside dancer Olivia and radio DJ Dylan, by their fellow housemates Noky, a banker from Derby, and a mother from Luton, Trish.

Kerry was forced to leave the show via a decorative coffin at the back of the room, without getting to say a final goodbye to the rest of her housemates.

Chanelle then told Big Brother ’s diary room: “Today feels like a divide in the house. I feel like it’s Trish’s group and then obviously Olivia and then Dylan.

“I would hate for Dylan to not feel part of a pocket of friends.”

The dental therapist from Llanelli in Wales is also told by Olivia that she had not spoken to Noky.

Elsewhere, food writer Henry has also opened up about his feelings for lawyer Jordan. He told Trish that he has been “playing with my emotions a bit the last couple of days” after kissing Jordan a few times.

He also tells the diary room: “There is something strange happening with Jordan and Matty and it’s become a bit of a puzzle in my mind.

“I guess on a really selfish level, I feel like I’m almost losing Jordan a bit as he’s drifting away. It’s really difficult to explain because I’ve never really felt this before.”

Big Brother continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
