Revealed: Will Meghan Markle Feng Shui Her New Home With Prince Harry?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a lot going on. They are about to embark on their final royal tour to Morocco before welcoming Baby Sussex in late April or early May, and they are moving from their 2 -bedroom cottage at Kensington Palace into a sprawling estate, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. With such packed schedules, the pair are looking to move into their new digs in March 2019 –which gives them just a few weeks to settle in before Markle gives birth.

Frogmore Cottage is about an hour outside of London and the estate provides privacy and a level of comfort that the newlyweds weren’t getting at Kensington Palace. With final touches being put on the renovations, it looks like Meghan Markle might also feng shui the new home.

Will Meghan Markle feng shui her new home with Prince Harry?

Despite her busy schedule, Markle has been super hands on about all of the renovations at Frogmore Cottage, so it’s very likely that the duchess will do a bit of feng shui as a final touch.

On her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig –the Duchess of Sussex wrote extensively about the art of feng shui and its benefits. She said, “The ancient Chinese art of feng shui has been practiced for nearly 3,000 years…With so many layers of tradition and technicality, it may seem daunting to introduce to your home aesthetic and ethos…However, the core of feng shui is about making you feel comfortable and at ease in your home so that it can translate into every aspect of your life – so fret not.”

Inside Frogmore Cottage

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new home is a bit more sizable than a “cottage” Frogmore Cottage has ten bedrooms, a nursery for Baby Sussex, a yoga studio, and a gym. Since the home was previously used for royal staff housing, the couple has added new staircases, vegan paint, and of course, little details for Baby Sussex.

The royals have been working on the renovations for months which is said to be a multi-million dollar project, paid for by Her Majesty, aka British taxpayers. Frogmore Cottage will also provide the privacy the duke and duchess want to raise their family outside of the glaring spotlight and press.

Inside Baby Sussex’s nursery

Though she’s been excited about getting the details of the house together as a whole –Markle probably spent most of her time getting Baby Sussex’s nursery just right.  Royal insider Katie Nicholl told Vanity Fair that the nursery has also been outfitted with, “top-of-the-line cameras, security windows, and a state-of-the-art stereo system.”

Nicholl also revealed that the nursery would be chic and gender-neutral. She explained, “Don’t expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it’s going to be a monochrome palette—whites and grays, I’m told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex’s nursery.” The nursery will be painted with eco-friendly vegan paint that is eucalyptus-infused. From Markle’s fashion choices we know that she loves color as well –she and the prince may decide to add bold pops of color to the room like rugs and pillows once the little one is born.
