Loose Women: Lindsey Burrow speaks about husband’s MND diagnosis
Rob Burrow’s wife Lindsey has reflected on her husband’s touching response to finding out he had Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Appearing on today’s Loose Women, the star’s spouse shared her experiences with the ITV chatshow.
As she recalled the early stages of Rob’s diagnosis, panelist Ruth Langsford asked: “What did you decide when you were going home, you’ve got young children, families – do you keep it to yourself for a while? Did you want to tell people?”
“Yeah, [it was] such a huge array of emotions, you know, you’ve just been told this devastating news and my first thought was, ‘How are we going to tell the children?'” Lindsey remembered.
She continued: “We’ve got three young children under the age of 10 – how are we going to break it to them?

“And the first thing that Rob said to me was, ‘Thank goodness it’s me and not you and the children,’ and that was sort of Rob’s take on it, that was his perspective.
“He was more bothered about myself and the children and telling his family, and that was his biggest worry.”
“His attitude is inspirational,” Denise Welch commented.
Last month, Rob was reduced to tears as he made an emotional TV appearance with his daughters.
