After Stu Carpenter’s (Bill Fellows) granddaughter, Eliza (Savannah Kunyo) made the decision to move to Weatherfield High in Coronation Street, she’s started hanging out with Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) and Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan).
Eliza ended up at the local school after she told Stu that her classmates were bullying her about her mum being in prison, following the reveal that she murdered Charlie Walter – not Stu.
Eliza has managed to make a few friends, but she’s mostly developed a good connection with Sam and because of this, Hope’s jealousy has started to increase.
As this is Hope, she hasn’t exactly dealt with her emotions in the ‘normal’ way.
Coming up, Eliza reminds Hope and Sam that it’s her birthday party soon, and Stu even manages to get Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) and Jake (Bobby Bradshaw) to come along as well.
Unfortunately, once Hope gets word of what’s going on, she tells the boys that they probably won’t enjoy Eliza’s party.
The conversation is overheard by Roy (David Neilson), who wonders why Hope is being so unkind.
But can Roy get through to her before Eliza’s birthday party?
Or will it be a disaster because of Hope and her jealousy?
