Russell Brand tells Kelly Brook to send pictures of her teenage self

Farage reflects on BBC Question Time clash with Russell Brand

A clip has resurfaced of Russell Brand speaking to Kelly Brook about her movie Survival Island in 2006 where he joked about pictures of herself as a 16-year-old.

The comedian, now 48, was speaking to the 43-year-old model, who was 27 at the time, about her sex life.

In the clip, Russell started the interview by asking Kelly to shake his hand as she leans in for a kiss on the cheek, saying: “That’s what we do in Europe isn’t it?”

Russell soon commented on her ex-partner Billy Zane and asked what Kelly’s father looked like and how he treated her.

“My dad was very protective if you could see pictures of me as a 15/16-year-old…” Kelly said before Russell chimed in: “Yeah that would be alright, send them!”

He then asked Kelly about her love life, commenting on the 14-year age gap between her and Billy.

The comic remarked: “Old Zaney, your old man. I don’t mean that to be disrespectful but you probably should go out with someone your own age like me!”

Russell then asked Kelly about her sex life to which she replied: “Yes I have a lot of sex and yes it keeps me fit.”

Russell added: “You do look like someone who is having it off, it keeps you all bright and bubbly!”

Eight years after the MTV interview, Kelly was quizzed by presenter Becca Dudley for “tips” on working in showbiz.

As part of her response, Kelly warned Becca: “Stay away from Russell Brand! No, he was a bit later than me.

“Just have fun. make the most of the freebies, go to all the festivals, stay away from rock stars.”

Russell has denied the allegations made against him, stating any sexual acts were “consensual”, but he admitted to being promiscuous when he had a sex addiction back in the day.

The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches have been investigating reported claims of sexual assault.

Ahead of the Channel 4 documentary airing about the allegations, Russel said in a video: “I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter, and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like, my community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel, but amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.”

YouTube stopped him from being able to earn any money through his channel for “violating our Creator Responsibility policy” earlier today (Tuesday, September 19).

YouTube said in a statement: “If a creator’s off-platform behaviour harms our users, employees or ecosystem, we take action to protect the community.”
