Fans of military drama SEAL Team may have spotted a clue in the latest promo for episode 15, where Ray (played by Neil Brown Jr) appears in the desert surrounded by bombs. This will undoubtedly leave many CBS viewers concerned for the character’s fate, especially considering that the finale is only two episodes away and with rumours of a high-profile exit circulating among the fandom all season long.

SEAL Team, created by Benjamin Cavell, began airing its fourth season in December 2020.

Fans are keeping themselves busy by watching trailers and theorising the fates of their favourite characters ahead of the season finale.

In a recent promo trailer for the upcoming episode, Nightmare of My Choice, things aren’t looking good for character Raymond Perry as fans believe he might die.

Nightmare of My Choice will also be directed by series star David Boreanaz.

In the promo, we see the team prepare for another mission, though it is Ray who appears to be struggling the most with what’s going on.

As Jason looks worried, they are told: “Stakes are high on this one, are you up to it?”

Appearing disoriented in the desert, Ray appears to be surrounded by bombs going off, and it seems team members will get hurt.

Friend Clay Spencer (Max Thieriot) looks as if he is about to crash in a helicopter as well, as Ray struggles to take it all in.

“This is Bravo Two, we are under fire.

“I say again, we are under fire,” says a panicked Ray.

Nightmare of My Choice will see the Bravo team join forces with an Alpha team to protect a Nigerian pipeline in a crucial mission.

A team member is tipped to be injured during the dangerous mission, but will they discover a more deadly adversary in the desert?

And with Ray clearly panicked as he calls for assistance, could it be him who ends up suffering a deadly fate?

Ray is the best friend of leader Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz), and was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 2 in season four.

The series follows an elite Navy SEALs unit as they undergo dangerous missions all over the world.

Stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr, A. J. Buckley, and Toni Trucks, make up the elite Bravo Team.

The finale, One Life To Live, will air on May 26, 2021.

A season five of the show has yet to be announced, however, not knowing another season is in store makes a massive cliffhanger all the more likely.

This will definitely concern fans even more about, not just the fate of Ray, but the entire team as well.

SEAL Team airs on CBS every Wednesday in the US.
