SHAKIRA's on the attack against her footballer ex Gerard Piqué and his new relationship in her latest single, just as rumours swirl of a possible affair.
The Colombian popstar has left little doubt that she is referring to her former partner and his younger lover in explosive lyrics featured on her new track.
"I’m worth two 22’s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio," she sings on the new song.
Former Barcelona defender, Piqué, revealed he was dating 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti not long after his high-profile separation from Shakira in June 2022.
The couple of 11 years have since been locked in a bitter custody battle over their two sons, before finally settling a deal in the New Year.
Unconfirmed rumours are currently circulating that Piqué had an affair with Clara before his official split from the Hips Don't Lie singer this summer.

The apparent dig against Clara continues with the lines: "She's got the name of a good person.
"Clearly is not how it sounds."
The song, "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53", is a collaboration with popular Argentine producer Bizarrap and has only been released in Spanish so far.
"Clearly" is the English translation of "Claramente" – a more direct allusion to Piqué's new fling.

However, the former football legend certainly does not escape unscathed as Shakira sings: "A lot of gyms. But work your brain a little bit too.”
Another line reads: “From love to hate there’s only one step” before Shakira adds: “No hard feelings baby, I wish you the best with my supposed replacement.”
Only a small section of the lyrics were leaked on January 11, but enough to alert listeners of the storm about to come.
"I'm too big for you, that's why you're with someone just like you" were the lyrics that listeners immediately associated with Piqué and Clara.
Shakira has thrown herself back into the music scene since her relationship broke down. Two other recent singles, Te Felicito and Monotonía, included more cryptic references to Piqué.
Recent reports in Spain have claimed that the former Manchester United star allegedly cheated on Shakira.
Then a video re-surfaced of a 2021 interview with Piqué that appears to show Clara within the frame at a time Shakira's team claim: "they were very much still together".
A source told Page Six that Shakira is "devastated to learn that this woman clearly felt at home in the house they shared with their children".
The source continued: "It’s devastating for her to learn that this affair had been going on for a lot longer than she imagined."
Music listeners are responding to her latest track with comments like: “I think Shakira is still a little fired up.”
