Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) gets some shock news from Kim Tate (Claire King) in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale, when Kim tells her that she has plans to sell Brook Cottage – meaning that Bernice (Samantha Giles) will be homeless. Gabby is fuming when she hears what’s planned.
But it seems that selling Bernice’s home wasn’t Kim’s first choice. The original idea was to sell Mulberry Cottage, the home of Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), but Jai, trying desperately to keep a roof over their heads, suggested that Brook Cottage would be a better idea.
As Jai tries to work out how he’s going to raise enough cash to buy his house from Kim, he suggests to Rishi (Bhasker Patel) and Priya (Fiona Wade) that they could give him the money if they sold Holdgate.
Basically, Jai doesn’t mind who’s homeless as long as it isn’t him.
So kind, right?
Jai finds himself on the receiving end of Priya and Bernice’s anger, as the women chastise him for his sneaky and selfish behaviour.
