Spoilers: Sally Dexter reveals how Faith in Emmerdale cheers her up on dark days

Throughout her time in Emmerdale, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) has impacted the villagers in many ways.

As the mother of Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain (Jeff Hordley), over the years Faith has been involved in some memorable moments that’s seen her push Kim Tate (Claire King) from a balcony, she’s donated money to Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) fundraising page and has had her fair share of relationship drama.

Faith returns in the coming weeks and turns up to the village dressed in full mourner’s garb. Spotted by Moira (Natalie J Robb), she immediately wants answers.

As Faith’s companion (an undertaker) heads over, Faith runs to the hearse, steals it and speeds away out of the car park.

When Moira arrives home, she sees a poorly concealed hearse parked up and asks Faith what’s going on.

Faith was last seen in the village in 2019, and with the Dingles set to be rocked by her return, Sally Dexter has revealed how pleased she is to be back playing this feisty character:

‘I am delighted! She cheers me up. I missed her dress sense; I’ve got none whatsoever!

‘I’ve missed the spark of someone who doesn’t give up, and who wants to party and celebrate life.’
