Strictly Come Dancing is back tonight with the first show of the series and those watching at home will tune in to see fifteen celebrities make their debut on the dance floor. Since the launch show when the famous faces were partnered up with a professional dancers, the contestants have been practicing their first routine non-stop. But for Karim Zeroual, it seems his time on the show could be short-lived.
Strictly has been on television screens for 16 years and over the years, there have been some incredible dance moments.
Back in 2014, Jake Wood defied everyone’s expectations with Janette Manrara and a body-bending Salsa which rocketed them to the top of the leaderboard.
And, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton broke dance protocol during their Doctor Who Tango when she took the leader during last year’s Halloween themed special.
But there have also been some spectacularly bad dances, remember Quentin Wilson and Hazel Newberry’s Cha Cha Cha during series two?

Well, they scored the lowest ever mark for a week one dance, and Express.co.uk has taken a look back through the Strictly archives to see which dance is the worst performing for the first week of the competition.
Referring to the scoring history, who is at risk of being at the bottom of the leaderboard tonight?
Throughout the previous 16 series, the dance which has scored the lowest during week one of every series since the shows inauguration is the Cha Cha Cha.
The Latin dance, which originates from Cuba has never scored higher than 17 points, which Gary Rhodes and Karen Hardy were awarded by the judges back in 2008.
Tonight, Karim and his partner Amy Dowden will be seen for the first time dancing the Cha Cha Cha to music If I can’t Have You by Shawn Mendes.
Despite the CBBC presenter being a firm favourite with the bookmakers, does the history pattern of the Cha Cha Cha mean he is at risk of scoring low later this evening?
The dance which has also scored the second lowest in week one the show’s history is the Waltz.
Out of 16 series, seven couples found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard on week one after performing the Ballroom dance.

Tonight, no one is doing a Waltz, but Catherine Tyldesley is performing a Viennese Waltz with her partner Johannes Radebe.
The former Coronation Street star is dancing to I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher, but will she impress the judges?
Despite this, only two out of 16 celebrities found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard during week one when they performed the Tango according to data.
BBC One viewers are going to tune in and see James Cracknell and Luba Mushtuk tackle this fierce dance to Gold by Spandau Ballet.
Alongside the professional rower, Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard are also dancing the same show but to Lips Are Moving by Meghan Trainor.
There will be no results show this week, instead, all fifteen contestants will dance for a second week.
But, they will face elimination next Sunday night – who will be the first to leave the show?
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
