Strictly Come Dancing fans have become convinced that they've spotted the early signs of a feud simmering between head judge Shirley Ballas and professional dancer Karen Hauer.
The 41 year old Venezuelan star is now the longest-running pro on the BBC competition series, having first teamed up with Westlife singer Nicky Byrne back in 2012.
This year, the dancer is teamed up with comedian and radio star Eddie Kadi, 40, but the pair have had a rollercoaster journey so far.
The duo did exceptionally well in their couples' choice street dance performance to Will Smith track Men in Black, and Eddie even received the first 10 from Shirley.
But it was a very different story in week two, as the judges tore the couple's Cha Cha Cha routine to shreds.
Since then, Karen has made her opinions on the critique clear, which was especially blunt from Shirley, saying she thought it was "wrong" during an appearance on Strictly: It Takes Two.
In her latest appearance, which saw the dancer give an interview alongside Eddie on Good Morning Britain, Karen reflected on the scoring once more.
"I think the judges had a different vision of what was happening," she explained. "And obviously the way that we were expressing ourselves with the Cha Cha was not what they are used to seeing in the show.
"But it was a bit different for us, we wanted to enjoy ourselves. We wanted to show a different side to the Cha Cha.
"But the fact that it all turned around – that's the amazing thing about Strictly though," Karen added.
Sharing their thoughts on a Reddit thread, one fan speculated: “There was some backstage drama after that. I’ve always got the impression that Shirley and Karen don’t get along, possibly because Shirley was a mentor to Kevin Clifton and Karen and Kevin obviously divorced.”
“Eddie should not have been caught in the crossfire. He has no control over the choreography so critiquing him on that and not giving him any actual feedback on his performance is ridiculous," another person wrote. "Craig in particular said nothing about Eddies performance.”
A third person said: “I mean I do find it annoying when the criticism is focused on the choreography as that’s out of the celebs hands."
While a fourth guessed: "I really don't think Karen and Shirley like each other, Karen really wanted to speak up after the criticism in the cha cha you could tell."
Eddie and Karen were given three eights and a 10 for their high-energy street dance routine for Movie Week.
Shirley even stood up as she declared with a grin: "It's never too early for a 10 from Shirley."
This weekend, the couple are set to take things down a beat and perform an American Smooth dance to Sir Tom Jones classic Sex Bomb.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturdays at 6.20pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
