Strictly: Nigel and Katya get highest score of week one

Strictly Come Dancing fans think Nigel Harman and Katya Jones will win the 2023 series after their first performance.

The couple, who performed the Paso Doble, topped the leaderboard with a staggering 32 points.

The judges were blown away by their performance, with Anton du Beke telling the former soap star, “You stole the night, sir.”

Fans also said the same thing about Nigel’s routine, with many predicting he will be lifting the Glitterball Trophy this year.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @ellietheking shared: “I’m glad everyone is collectively losing their minds over Nigel Harman #Strictly.”

@Jessey_Pearce echoed: “Didn’t expect Nigel to be that good, but Wow! Hand him the glitterball now! #Strictly.” (sic)

@Dan_Mc_Loughlin beaned: “Wow Nigel Harman is a fantastic dancer I really wasn’t expecting that #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
