Strictly legend ‘could join rival show ITV’s Dancing On Ice in huge career move’

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood could be swapping the glitzy BBC show for ITV’s Dancing On Ice, AI has claimed.

The pro dancer and choreographer, 58, has been a staple on the BBC series since it first kicked off in 2004. For all of its 21 series, Craig has sat at the iconic judging panel to share his thoughts on the latest batch of famous faces.

But now, it’s been claimed that Craig could be joining rival show Dancing On Ice “in a major coup” for the ITV programme. It comes after Craig opened up about his plans to walk away from Strictly.

Ahead of this year's series, the star revealed he is hoping to "hang up [his] shoes and enjoy life" when he turns 60 in January 2025. This means next year could well be his last as a judge.

Speaking to Best magazine, he explained: "I'm working hard while I can, especially as I love what I do. It keeps me on my toes, darlings! I'm now the same age as the late, great Len Goodman was when he first started – that's scary, isn't it?!"

He added: "The reason I look forward to it every year is because the cast changes. I think that's what's fun about it, it doesn't age. And this year's line-up is fab-u-lous!"

Now, AI has predicted Craig will take a seat at rival show Dancing On Ice’s panel. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if a Strictly Come Dancing judge could join the panel on Dancing On Ice.

The program responded: “Considering the popularity of the show and the success of Oti Mabuse as a judge, it's likely that they will consider another Strictly judge for a future season.” Bard AI then claimed it could be Craig who could join the dancing show as a judge.

It explained: “He is known for his sharp and often critical comments, which have earned him the nickname "Mr. Nasty." This would bring a different dynamic to the Dancing on Ice judging panel.”

The system went on: “However, he is also a respected choreographer and director, and his insights into the world of dance will be valuable to the show. He also has a background in figure skating, having competed in the Australian Figure Skating Championships.”

The program added: “If Horwood were to join Dancing on Ice, it would be a major coup for the show. He would bring his expertise, his charisma, and his sharp tongue to the judging panel. He would also be a ratings draw, as he is one of the most recognizable and popular figures on British television.”
