ANNABEL Croft has revealed the show is helping her heal from her hidden pain.
The former tennis player is one of the famous taking part in this year's series of the BBC One dancing show.
With an intense training schedule for Strictly Come Dancing, it's been a good distraction for the 57-year-old who lost her husband to cancer.
Mel Coleman sadly lost his battle with the disease earlier this year just weeks after being diagnosed.
For Annabel, his tragic passing is what encouraged her to say yes to the Beeb when they came knocking.
She told The Mirror: "I just love the fact that it just takes you away to a different place, trying something completely different, but also try and let go and try to be in the moment.

Annabel is partnered with Johannes Radebe on Strictly.
Viewers watched on Saturday as the pair danced a Tango to Need U Tonight by INXS for Halloween week.
