The competition is heating up in Strictly Cone Dancing with just seven more contestants remaining in the show. One of which is CBBC presenter Molly Rainford and her professional partner Carlos Gu who is also new to the Strictly professional cast. Despite having a tough time last weekend, the judges were left feeling enthusiastic following her passionate Tango.
CBBC presenter Molly Rainford has been in the dreaded dance-off a few times now, having previously faced Paralympian Ellie Simmonds and comedian Jayde Adams.
Last week, it was the 22-year-old against radio presenter Tyler West and while she remained in the show, it was bound to knock her confidence.
So when Molly received rave reviews from the judges after her Tango this evening [Saturday, November 26], she couldn’t have been more thrilled.
Judge Anton du Beke started off the flurry of compliments by stating that “no one could hold a candle” to her as a dancer in the show.
When presenter Tess Daly spoke to Anton about her performance, he explained: “The thing about you is that you’re a really good dancer, we know that, we saw that week one, but we don’t want you to be really good we want you to be great.
“And if you want to make the finale, if you want to win the show, you have the capability to be ahead of everybody else.
“No one can hold a candle to you but you don’t let us see it.
“Today was the first time I got to see it and I want more of that.
