Strictly Come Dancing release trailer for new series
Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke has revealed the judges do a “brilliant number” during the launch show.
On Saturday night, the 15 celebrity contestants will be matched with their professional partners as the pairs hope to win the all-important glitterball trophy.
The new series of the BBC One show will also see the judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke take centre stage in the sensational opening routine.
All four are joined by the rest of the troupe in daring outfits for the choreographed mini-show.
Teasing the judge’s big routine, Anton, 57, said: “It’s an amazingly brilliant number. I’m really delighted that we’re doing something and my fellow Judges are on great form as well.

“Everyone is in great shape and everyone is dancing well and it’s just a really fantastic number, it genuinely is.
“It felt a bit like being back in a pro number! I am on a podium it’s exciting!”
Head judge Shirley, 63, also added: “The audience is in for a real treat. My dance shoes are back out and it feels amazing. I’ve been put through my paces.
“But to be dancing with my fellow judges and the professional dancers is a feeling like no other.”

Meanwhile, Motsi added the routine is like ‘coming out of retirement, she said: “You think you’ve retired and you’re never going to dance again and you’ve done it all.
“But then Strictly calls and the shoes are back on. I think the audience loves to see the judges dancing. It’s going to be a big celebration.”
Craig Revel-Horwood revealed he’s tackling a move he’s not done before as he shares his passion for the judges dances.
He added: “Well, it’s very exciting. So I’m doing an assisted backward walk over darling, which I’ve never done before.
“It’s when you drop into two boys’ arms, flip over, and land hopefully on your feet, so that’ll be good fun!
“It’s really stylized, I really love the music and it’s a compilation and it’s all four Judges going up against each other!”
This year’s all-star line-up of 15 celebs includes Waterloo Road and ex-Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, former EastEnders star Nigel Harman, along with TV star Les Dennis and Love Island’s Zara McDermott.
Bobby Brazier will also be taking to the dancefloor and ahead of the show’s launch, the EastEnders actor has said he plans to dedicate a routine to his late mum Jade Goody.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on September 16th on BBC One from 6:25pm
