THE Woman in the Wall viewers have slammed the BBC drama as "nonsense" and "switched off" after watching the first episode.

This gripping BBC One series follows a woman who wakes up to find a dead body in her house.


She retraced her travels and decides that the dead woman might have some connection to her past at the Magdalene Laundry in the community.

But as viewers got to watch the first episode Sunday evening -they were left divided.

Some were not impressed and branded the BBC drama, "nonsense" and said they "switched off".

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Another crap BBC show, I'm switching off."
