This Morning fans slam Rylan Clark for ‘cheating’ during Spin to Win segment

This Morning: Rylan helps ‘Spin to Win’ caller win £3000

Rylan Clark sparked a mixed reaction from This Morning viewers on Thursday when he moved the Spin to Win wheel in order for the viewer to land more money.

The caller explained she’d be buying a new leg if she won the right amount of money.

After a spin, the wheel seemed like it was going to land on £750, but host Rylan pushed it to the £3,000 amount.

Fans of the show took to X, formerly known as Twitter in response.

@S829MLY asked: “Is that not called cheating…#thismorning.”

@Sophia584938099 fumed: “If anyone gets through on spin to win just tell them a sob story and you’ll get the £3k!

“What about the people who don’t say anything but just need help with bills & food shopping etc everyone deserves the same chance. It should just be left to spin. #ThisMorning.” (sic)

However, others applauded the sweet gesture, with @TheLadySindy sharing: “Omg I love Rylan so much! #ThisMorning.”

@SallyPrice4 added: “What a beautiful kind man, Rylan is. God Love Him #ThisMorning #SpintoWin.”

It came as the caller asked Rylan to go for a “hard spin”.

“Jose, give it a good’un,” he stated as co-host Josie Gibson spun the wheel.

“Come on! We want a nice bit of money here I think,” he continued.

He repeated: “Come on, nice bit of money, keep it coming, keep it coming, keep it coming!”

As the wheel started to slow down at around £750, Rylan manually spun it and said: “It’s just going to keep on going by accident…

“Oh look at that, it’s £3,000! You’ve just won £3,000!”

“I can’t actually believe this, thank you so much,” the caller responded.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
