RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Tia Kofi makes her Hollyoaks debut in upcoming scenes.
The drag superstar will be making a festive visit to Chester for the annual fairy parade, where she's set to clash with the village's resident drag icon Scott Drinkwell aka Anita Tinkle (Ross Adams). Tia plays a heightened version of herself, with the sass turned up a few levels. Ahead of these scenes airing, the drag queen revealed she's huge fan of the Channel 4 soap.
Tia said: "I had a wonderful time on set filming Hollyoaks. Considering the fact that I ran a Hollyoaks fan club at school, this was a really surreal moment for me. I’m looking forward to them writing me in as a semi-regular cast member, ideally a new McQueen."

Earlier this year, Tia admitted to Pop Buzz that former Hollyoaks hunk Craig Dean, played by Guy Burnett, was her crush aged 17. Fans will remember that Craig famously had a relationship with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). In late 2007, Guy decided to leave the series, stating that he wanted to pursue other acting ventures. However, he agreed to return to the series in late 2008 and had a "sunset ending" with John Paul.
Back in the village, While Tia and Anita may clash off set, Hollyoaks star Ross Adams was full of praise for his scene-stealing co-star. He gushed: "I'm a huge fan of Drag Race and Tia Kofi was amazing in season two so I was so excited when I met her for the first time. It was like half 6 in the morning, we were both in makeup first because obviously it takes a lot of time to look that cheap.

"What I thought was really lovely was that Tia is a true Hollyoaks fan. She was so much fun to work with and her lines I found hilarious – she is so lovely in real life but her character is really mean. Her outfit as well is just unreal, she’s dressed as a fabulous glamorous elf, and her pigtails were so cute, a little bit of Britney going on, but pink.".
These scenes will be streaming online on Wednesday (December 20) from 7.30pm, before landing on E4 the following night (Thursday, December 21) at 7pm.
