Top Boy: Season 3 official trailer on Netflix
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Top Boy.
Top Boy’s Ashley Walters has spoken of what he regrets while he was creating the award-winning drama.
Netflix dropped the third and final epic season of the gangster series earlier this month and subscribers are still talking about that unexpected finale.
Since originally launching on Channel 4 in 2011, Top Boy has gained itself a legion of fans who couldn’t get enough of Dushane (played by Ashley Walters) and Sully’s (Kane “Kano” Robinson) antics.
The show has won awards, been hyped up by critics and attracted millions of viewers during its original first two seasons and the subsequent three on Netflix.
Despite all of the love for the show, Dushane star and executive producer Ashley Walters does have some regrets with focusing so much on bringing Top Boy to life.

Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, Walters admitted that his busy work life did impact his eight children.
“It hasn’t gone great with all of my children, I didn’t care enough. I didn’t want the adult responsibilities that came with it”, he explained.
“For a long period of time I wasn’t there in the way I should be and I’m slightly paying the price for that now.”
“To get that stability in the acting game you have to go and do a soap.
“You don’t really get it from drama, so it was good for the family and for me to focus on just being an artist rather than worrying about mortgages.”

The 41-year-old welcomed his first child into the world at age 20 and has had seven more over the past couple of decades.
He has two sons, Shayon, 21, and Panera, 18, and one daughter, China, 20, with his ex-girlfriend Natalie Williams.
Walters is also the father to daughters Antonia and Ashleigh who he shares with another woman and eight-year-old Amaiya-Love and five-year-old River with Danielle Isaie who he married in 2013.
He is also the stepfather to Danielle’s child from a previous relationship, bringing the grand total of children to eight.
While he is successful, Walters isn’t keen on the idea of his children going into the TV industry.
He says he is “worried” if they do as it is a “tough life” but added: “I will support them all the way”.
The So Solid Crew rapper also spoke of his dad, who died of lung cancer after being absent for years, stating: “I would love him to see me now, who I’ve become and what I’ve achieved.”
Top Boy is available to watch on Netflix.
