VIEWERS have been shocked to see Victoria Sugden and Jacob Gallagher jump into bed together.
But just as their romance begins, it all takes a nasty turn, leaving the Emmerdale chef shell-shocked next week.
Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant) confessed he harboured feelings for Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins).
The twenty-year old lad made his confession while laying in a hospital bed, where he was taken after having a severe allergic reaction to one of Victoria's meals in The Hide.
Victoria was initially reluctant to give Jacob a chance, mostly due to their nine-year age gap.
Yet in an unexpected twist that can only occur in Emmerdale, they have decided to give romance a shot.

But due to Victoria's previous relationship and engagement with Jacob's father David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), the pair have had to keep their connection under wraps.
Next week on ITV, the stress of guarding secrets begins to get to Jacob as he continues to remain silent about his love for Victoria.
And after romping together, both Victoria and Jacob are getting reckless.
The pair are playing with fire as they hold hands outside David's shop and they have to separate quickly when he appears on Main Street.

Since his departure was announced, after less than two decades in the eponymous village, many TV fans have speculated he could leave the Dales a heartbroken man once he figures out his son has become involved with his former fiancée.
