Virgin River Holiday Episodes: Teaser trailer
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Virgin River.
Virgin River’s fifth outing saw Calvin make a comeback to the town but who is he?
The romantic Netflix drama returned for its second part in November, rounding up some key storylines like Charmaine (played by Lauren Hammersley) giving birth to twins and Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) meeting her biological father.
The final episode also saw Calvin (David Cubitt) back on the scene and some subscribers are keen to know more about him and how he will impact the series going forward.
Who is Calvin in Virgin River season 5?
Calvin was the trouble-maker of Virgin River as the resident gang leader heading up a large-scale cannabis farm.
He frequently caused problems between friends Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and Brady who actually ended up working for Calvin when he was down on his luck.

It was at the end of season four though when there was the accident which led everyone to believe that Calvin had been killed.
Melissa had taken over leadership of the gang and life had carried on in Virgin River without him.
However, it wasn’t until one of the last episodes in season five that it was revealed Calvin wasn’t killed and it was actually Melissa who had plotted his death.
Calvin is also part of another major storyline which has been ongoing since the first season of Virgin River.

It is still too early to say when the new episodes are going to come out given series five part two recently dropped on Netflix.
Sadly, there will be a delay thanks to the Hollywood writers and actors’ strike which has affected shows and films across the world.
If work soon begins on season six though, Virgin River could be back in late 2024 or early 2025.
Virgin River is available to watch on Netflix.
