What is George Clarke's Amazing Spaces? When can I watch it?

The show follows people who turn unconventional things, such as old boats and sheds, into incredible places to live, with a particular emphasis on creative use of small spaces.

You can watch the second episode of series eight TONIGHT (January 13) at 8pm on Channel 4.

It goes up against Call the Midwife on BBC One, Dragon's Den on BBC Two and Vera on ITV.

What happens in George Clarke's Amazing Spaces tonight?

In this evening's episode, George meets a Cornish couple wanting to restore a luxury American trailer.

The architects also helps out a former cabbie who is trying to construct a writing office in her garden with a budget of £800 – oh, and the whole things must be built solely from recycled materials.

Who is George Clarke?

George Clarke was born in May 1974 in Sunderland.

He trained as an architect after leaving school at 16.

In 1998 he and business partner Bobby Desai formed their own company clarke:desai with clients including celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and showbiz supremo Simon Fuller.

Since 2004 Clarke has also been a regular feature on TV, with some of his best-known shows including Dream Home Abroad, The Great British Property Scandal, George Clarke's Amazing Spaces and Old House New Home.

George has also written several books including Home Bible and Build a New Life: by Creating Your New Home.
